Director of The Glasgow School of Art, Professor Penny Macbeth, said:
“All of the GSA – staff, students, alumni and the Board – are saddened to hear of the passing of our friend and alumnus, Robbie Coltrane.
Robbie was a great supporter of and ambassador for the school, demonstrating the impact creative education can play in transforming lives and enriching the lives of others.
He will be greatly missed by us all.”
